2 Ingredient Chocolate Mousse
Light, airy, smooth and indulgent. Today we are making the viral 2 ingredients chocolate mousse made with dark chocolate and water in a blender.

My mom was visiting a few weeks ago. We had been planning her visit for a while and made a list of all the recipes we wanted to make whilst she was here as we see each other perhaps once a year. So we really needed to make up for lost time all within 5 weeks.
As we both adore dark chocolate one of the ideas we had was to make 3 different chocolate mousse recipes: A healthy one, a high-protein one and an indulgent one. All plantbased and all easy to make.
This recipe is the latter.
All three turned out really delicious, but I especially love that this requires only 2 ingredients.

ADD OTHER FLAVOURS
Chang up the flavours a bit with ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, orange zest or orange extract or replace some of the water with your favourite liqueur.
MAKING
this chocolate mousse could not be easier.
All you need is a good quality dark chocolate (70% or more), a strong high speed blender, cold water and a bit of patience.
Add the chocolate and water to the blender and blend for a few minutes, until the chocolate has completely dissolved. Pour into ramekins or jars and place in the fridge overnight.
Enjoy the next day. Simple.
A PINCH OF SALT
I recommend serving the chocolate mousse with a pinch of flaky sea salt on top. The mousse will taste even more chocolatey and indulgent.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Fresh berries such as raspberries or strawberries
Grated chocolate or chocolate shavings
Toasted coconut chips
A dollop of whipped coconut cream

SERVES 3 - 4
TIME 5 minutes, plus overnight
INGREDIENTS
350ml cold water
180g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
ADDITIONAL
Pinch of sea salt flakes to serve
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the chocolate and cold water to a high speed blender and blend until completely smooth and no chocolate chunks are left.
Pour into individual cups or jars. Cover and let sit overnight in the fridge.
Serve with a few sea salt flakes sprinkled on top.
