carrot, apple & ginger juice

With the colder weather approaching it is good to boost our immune system and increase our nutrient intake even more.

This juice will do just that...



This juice is made with three ingredients


Carrot

They are a good source of:

Vitamin A - is important for immune functions and promotes good vision,

Vitamin B6 - is involved in converting food into energy,

Vitamin K1 - is important for blood coagulation and bone health,

Antioxidants - improve immune function and may reduce risk of many illnesses.



Ginger

Has powerful medicinal properties,

Has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties,

Helps fight infections,

May help improve the risk factors of heart diseases.



Apple

are a good source of:

Vitamin C - is an important nutrients that has important functions in your body.

Potassium - may benefit heart health,

Various antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory properties,

Can help lower blood sugar levels.


 


CARROT, APPLE & GINGER JUICE


Serves: 2


INGREDIENTS

  • 3 large apples

  • 6 carrots

  • 10g ginger

  • squeeze of lime (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Depending on your juicer instructions, peel and core the apples if necessary. We use a SAGE Nutri Juicer which doesn't require any prepping or cutting into smaller pieces.

  2. Press all ingredients through the juicer, divide between 2 glasses and enjoy immediately.
