If you are planning on making one strawberry dish this week, I suggest making these oven-roasted strawberries. These strawberries will take your breakfast to the next level.


Sweet, juicy and soft strawberries! Perfect with a creamy plain or vanilla yoghurt and a crunchy homemade granola.

  • It is so quick and easy to make

  • Roasting the strawberries brings out a richer sweetness and depth of flavour

  • you can use any sweetener of choice. Liquid sweeteners such as maple syrup, agave syrup and honey work best, but coconut sugar or cane sugar will do the trick too!

  • Where possible use organic and local strawberries

  • Roast them until they are caramelising, soft and releasing their natural juices.

Roasted Strawberries with Yoghurt & Granola


ROASTED STRAWBERRIES WITH YOGHURT & GRANOLA


Sweet, juicy and soft strawberries! Perfect with a creamy plain or vanilla yoghurt and a crunchy homemade granola. These strawberries will take your breakfast to the next level.



Prep time: 5 min

Roasting time: 25 - 30 min

Total time: 35 min

Serves 2



INGREDIENTS

  • 6 - 8 large strawberries

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup / agave syrup / honey



INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C

  2. Cut and hull the strawberries, drizzle with sweetener of choice and give a good mix.

  3. Transfer to an ovenproof dish and cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

  4. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 - 15 min, until sticky.

  5. Serve warm or cooled with coconut or (vegan) vanilla yoghurt and this homemade grain-free granola.
